Some Fun Facts About Rachael
Where were you born / Where did you grow up? Brisbane born & raised!
What did you love to do as a kid? I loved to dance, whether that be at dance class every week or making up dances with my sisters on the weekends.
What did you want to be when you were growing up? Growing up I knew I wanted to work in the medical area but had no idea exactly what I wanted to do.
What is your favourite food? I have a big sweet tooth and love anything chocolate.
Where is your favourite holiday destination? It would definitely have to be Italy…..amazing food, culture & history.
Where in the world would you like to go where you haven’t been before? I would love to visit Japan during cherry blossom season.
Tell us an interesting fact about you. I have been sky diving.
What is your life motto? “When life throws you a rainy day, play in the puddles”. – Winnie the Pooh
Rachael graduated in 2021 from The University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) and has since worked exclusively in paediatrics. Her experience spans clinic-based, school and telehealth services, allowing her to support children across diverse environments. Rachael also had the opportunity to contribute to an outreach clinic, delivering intervention to children in rural areas of Queensland. She’s worked with children with a wide range of needs and diagnoses, with a particular interest and passion for early intervention.

- Autism and PDA (Professor Tony Attwood and Dr Michelle Grant)
- Ready Rocket Curriculum
- Interoception Curriculum (Kelly Mahler)
- OT Treatment Interventions for Self Care Skills
