Some Fun Facts About Tamara
Where were you born / Where did you grow up? I was born in Townsville. We moved around a lot as kids and I have lived between Townsville & Tasmania.
What did you love to do as a kid? My grandparents had a cattle property so I loved feeding the poddy calves and playing with my cousins.
What did you want to be when you were growing up? Either a flight attendant or vet.
What is your favourite food? Italian
Where is your favourite holiday destination? Either Kingscliffe or Bali
Where in the world would you like to go where you haven’t been before? I would love to go to the UK and Europe, in particular Italy.
Tell us an interesting fact about you. I love cows, ducks & dogs. I am a Mum to 2 girls and grandmother to little Lucas. I also love a good romance novel.
What is your life motto? Time is a thief.
I have worked as a medical receptionist in Cleveland for the past 7 years. My previous roles included working with the indigenous community in healthcare as well as in the aged care sector and with Redland Special School as a Teacher’s Aide. My work within the disability sector included teaching adults independant living and support.
My life has been so enriched by being able to particpate in some way to make a small difference in someone’s life.
