I began my career in regional South Australia after graduating in 2021. I was working across the lifespan in disability but mostly paediatrics. I was lucky enough to gain a wide range of experience running therapy sessions, group sessions, completing assistive technology prescriptions, working with education sites across the town and supporting the local university to develop their OT program and with student placements.
I decided to move to the Sunshine Coast in mid 2024 and have continued working within the disability space. I have developed a strong interest in early intervention along with neuromuscular disability. Over the last few years I have undertaken the following additional training:
- Sensory Processing and Modulation in Children (Verve OT)
- SCERTS Training (Autism Level Up)
- Talking Toileting (Toilet Time)
- Learn to Play Therapy (Learn to Play)
- Bimanual Therapy (CP Teaching)
- Assisting Hand Assessment (CP Teaching)
- Support Children Who Have Experienced Trauma (Emerging Minds)
- The Impact of Family and Domestic Violence on the Child (Emerging Minds)
- Conquering the Wees & Poos (Rebecca Khan)
