Some Fun Facts About Yasmin
Where were you born / Where did you grow up? I was born in Brisbane and have lived in Redland City my whole life.
What did you love to do as a kid? As a kid, I enjoyed basketball, trampolining, singing, horse riding, reading, listening to music and spending time with my friends.
What did you want to be when you were growing up? At first an actress, then a race car driver, then a solicitor, then a health worker.
What is your favourite food? Bacon and eggs, chocolate and ramen.
Where is your favourite holiday destination? Hakuba, Japan.
Where in the world would you like to go where you haven’t been before? Switzerland & Turkey.
Tell us an interesting fact about you? I spent 20 days trekking around the Himalayas in Nepal.
What is your life motto? Be kind, be brave and self-love.
Yasmin is a passionate Occupational Therapist with a growing specialty interest in paediatric mental health. She is dedicated to supporting children through a trauma-informed approach to build emotional resilience, develop self-regulation skills, and participate more independently in daily activities.
Yasmin completed a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy at Griffith University, where she developed a strong foundation in evidence-based practice and client-centred care.
Yasmin has been working under the supervision of a Mental Health Endorsed occupational therapist while building her skills in both paediatric psycho-social and mental health occupational therapy, working toward her own endorsement.
Yasmin has completed additional training in a range of evidence-based paediatric approaches, including:

- Mental health occupation focused interventions and therapeutic strategies

Yasmin is a member of OT Australia and works from our Cleveland clinic.
